Wii VYING FOR THE GAMERS

The next generation of video game consoles have arrived with a lot of pomp, gaudy at times. Remember the old cliche'," all that glitters is not gold". Nintendo seem to have struck gold but without the blinding glitter. There game console rechristened Wii from Revolution is the most peculiar of the three vying for the gamers, galore. I t might not be the graphical powerhouse a next gen console is readily perceived to be. No, it does not sport a processor with three cores @ 3.2 ghz each ala xbox 360, nor does it have the much hyped cell processing technology from which the gaming prowess of the Ps3 allegedly stems. Infact, it almost makes a mockery of the next gen tag. As it is powerful enough to huff and puff it's way to out perform it's predecessor, the GAME CUBE. But nintendo have their thinking cap glued to their heads. Combining their perception of a regular gamer, which mind you is romanticised to the very extent of being a fairy tale, with their undying resolve to serve this class of gamer;they cater to a niche of gamers which is the epitome of brand loyalty.

They might have not concentrated on enhancing the graphical capability of their console but have left no stone unturned to make it worthy of all it's price tag, rendered humble by the ps3's price(600 U.S.D 4 the premium machine and the base model is rubbish, well i get quiet cruel here in the brackets). The U.S.P of Wii is, it's controller with motion sensors which propels your being into the game. It has two parts that work in tandem. The first part is the controller which is reminiscent of a T.V remote the other is the nun chuk, a device with motion sensors. So, in the next game you might actually might have to weild your Wii controller as if it was a sword. It can metamorphose into a tennis racquet from a sledge hammer in matter of games. Simply, brilliant. Simply, nintendo.

WHAT FAVOURS NINTENDO Wii:
1. Promises to keep.......................miles to go before, I sleep.
Nitendo never promised the world with Wii. Infact it was always shrouded
in so much secrecy that ninteno never made any promises.Ulike,Sony.
Where is the motion sensors in their remote control that they had promised.

2. The price is right.
Wii:$250
Xbox 360:$300-400
Ps3:$500-600

3. Nintendo be hailed.
The loyalists will stay with nintendo and cutting edge graphics might not
be able to woo them.Remeber the nintendo ds has outsold sony psp 3:1 despite
the latter's home console-like graphical ability.
