Is Iran Contemplating Opening Up of Diplomatic Channels

Till now, Iran has remained cantankerously defiant to the international communities demand to come clean on it's alleged nuclear weapons program. It has refuted the claims that it has a nuclear weapon program vociferously. But recent overtures from Iran seem to suggest that it has softened it's stand. A country that has been talking about giving potential aggressors a fight, has all of a sudden taken a route alien to it, that of diplomatic rhetoric and political correctness. Is it a case of Iran wilting under international pressure or a measured stance taken after both deliberation and cerebration in equal measures ? Of that the sands of time be the judge. Although, Iran, all of a sudden seems to be intrigued by diplomacy. One can only but wonder if there is any other kind of intrigue involved here.
