Online Education Haven

Yes, that's Capella University for you. And all this hoopla is not for nothing. It is an accredited online university with no paucity of students. In fact 19000 students are enrolled for their courses. The online institution has an extensive online presence through podcasts and blogs. The university has released it's latest podcast featuring a conversation with Capella PhD student Carla Chladek about her work as Program Manager for the Joint Staff Training Program at the Pentagon. Carla occupies an eminent position in Pentagon and is pursuing her Masters in Education. This lends credence to the fact that Capella is to online education what the Ivy league institutes are to the field of education in general. The people over at capella university are so kind to provide these podcasts that feature interviews with the students enrolled in various courses offered by the institution. You can also subscribe to the Rss feed of the podcasts at capellacommons.com/rss/. They are about 15 minutes length. Capella offers 89 graduate and undergraduate specializations and 16 certificate programs. It has students from all over the U.S and 56 other countries. Capella Education Company, headquartered at Minneapolis is listed on Nasdaq.
